2012-03-18, Yeah, it's been a trend in some chick-lit books to have a character who is Trying To Conceive (this altlacuy has its own acronym) and we're treated to every detail. Of course there has to be a happy ending and that happy ending should not involve either (a) adoption or (b) sod it, might well be for the best, at least there'll be no getting up nights or broken life for the next eighteen years.The happy ending is underdone in short fiction but sometimes overdone in novels like this.
